We are delighted to support ‘Wiwe’ in Schweinfurt as a new sponsor.
With this commitment, we want to promote enthusiasm for technology among children and young people and actively strengthen the region.
The knowledge center (www.wiwe-sw.de) offers children and young people a creative platform to experience technology and science at first hand. With workshops and projects focussing on hands-on learning, it inspires young people to take up careers in engineering and skilled trades.
This concept fits in perfectly with our core values – we have been focussing on precision, innovation and responsibility for over 75 years now.
Wissenswerkstatt Schweinfurt was even recognised as winner in the category ‘education’ of the Digital Places 2024 competition.
‘As a third-generation family business, supporting the next generation is a matter close to our hearts,’ explains André Göpfert, Managing Partner of Göpfert Maschinen GmbH. ‘Our machines, which are supplied to over 50 countries, require technical expertise and innovative solutions. With the partnership with Wissenswerkstatt Schweinfurt, we want to inspire young people for technology and encourage them to develop their talents in this direction. The children can gain practical experience here, produce their own technical work and are proud of their own product at the end. I experience this with my own children, who also regularly attend courses here,’ adds André Göpfert.
Beginning of January, Mario Lory, 1st Chairman of Schweinfurter Wissenswerkstatt eV, and Daniel Thiel, Managing Director of Wissenswerkstatt, presented Katrin Göpfert with the silver sponsorship certificate and thanked her for her support.
