At the end of the last official working day before the holidays, the Göpfert family invited all employees to the assembly hall for a Christmas get-together.
The works council welcomed all colleagues and thanked the management for their good cooperation.
In his speech, Karl F. Göpfert reviewed the past year. The challenges were mastered well and, despite the tense economic situation, the company can look back with pride on the achievements made, although the current situation remains difficult in general. He took stock from both a global political and a regional perspective and ventured a cautious look at the prospects for the future.
At the following 54 employees were honored for long-term service to the company. Most of them have been working for the company for 10 years, but among those celebrating their anniversary are seven who have been with Göpfert for 30 years, two for 35 years, four for 40 years and one employee has even been part of the Göpfert workforce for 45 years.
Afterwards, the colleagues were able to continue to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere over mulled wine, children’s punch and a snack.
